Product Return Instructions
Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We have set specific guidelines to ensure a quick and hassle-free return and exchange process. If needed, we have a fully staffed team of experts who can walk you step-by-step through this process.
We ask that you please read our “Return Policy” link under “Shipping and Returns” and follow the steps below when returning or exchanging an item.
Step 1: Contact Customer Service to Obtain a Return RMA Number.
If you ordered an item by mistake or just don't want it anymore, you may return your item(s) but must first contact customer service to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #.) With a valid RMA number, TheLiteSource.com will credit you for 80 percent of the merchandise value (including sales tax for orders shipped within FL) or for the full value of your order if less than $10.00. Please note that a minimum 20 percent restocking fee applies to all returned orders.
If you need to return an item because it was damaged during shipping or due to a mistake made by the manufacturer or The Lite Source, please contact us and we will assist you — in these cases no restocking fees will apply and we will cover the return shipping expense. Step 2: Packing & Sending Your Return or Exchange
After calling to receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return address information, you will need to prepare your item for shipment. Pack the item to be returned securely in the original carton. Within the box, please include your contact information, the order number and the reason for the return. Also please note what you would like done (refund, new product shipped, etc.) On the outside of the box, write the RMA # and the address listed below:

Please note, if we can't read your writing, we will not be able process your return. Please make sure the information you provide is legible. Make sure that the package is fully sealed before shipping. We ask that the item be shipped either UPS or Insured Parcel Post. Using one of these methods will allow the package to be traced and also make the credit process go much quicker. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged.
